Sunshine, swimming suit and loads of fun!

The sun was very generous this week and gave us a chance to create lovely memories. As a family we went out everyday to the park, enjoyed ice creams, took Lilly to the swimming pool for the first time and had a lovely time with friends.

Lilly got to wear some of her little summer dresses that would otherwise have to be hidden underneath layers of coat and blankets outside the house. We got to play with a ball and bubbles. We had mini pick-nicks in the park everyday.

We discovered that this little one has some amazing dribbling skills.

This is Lilly sporting her straw hat, swimming suit and ballerina skirt, on her way to the swimming pool for the first time. She was not impressed by the water at first. She literally tried to climb as high as she could on me, I'm sure that if she had had the strength she would have climbed up on my head. After about twenty minutes she warmed up to the whole idea, we played a few games and finally she was laughing and kicking her little legs, she even splashed water into Simon's face.

She refuses to wear hats for more than ten seconds which means you have to cover up her head with sunscreen. It allows you to style her hair in some pretty funny ways. The Mohican is a whole time favourite!

Lilly loved borrowing all of Runa's toys.
