The cold and memories from our one week of sunshine.

Yesterday morning we all woke up with a bad cold that is still ongoing today. My eyes were so sore that I could not put my contacts until 2 pm. But someone turned out to  have a lot of energy for having a bad cold. This little someone ran and ran and ran in circles around the living room with her little arms up in the air, swinging her little bottom in rhythm to Hakuna Matata. Lilly was on a roll, from emptying the bins and the clean laundry basket to cuddling on the couch with us with a big bowl of pop corn and suddenly flipping it over her head and making sure every inch of the couch was covered in pop corn. It was a funny day, she made us laugh a lot which was nice since we felt pretty ill.
This morning we still all have a cold and Lilly discovered that once done with her morning feed, crying and yelling in Daddy's ear, coupled with her turning red and hyperventilating got Daddy out of bed in a quarter of the time it usually takes when she is being cute. I decided to associate that with the cold and hope she will not add that discovery to her recent ones: using a coat hanger or toy to reach things that are too high up for her, opening the zip of my handbag or Simon's lap top bag, opening the DVD cases to see if there are any papers in them to chew...( the list goes on but these are the ones that have added to the spice in our lives)

Daddy and Lilly playing at the park on Saturday.

I am still pretty amazed at how blessed we are to have such a little angel in our lives. She is our little sunshine who makes every day better. She is so full of life, learns new things every day and she always has a cut or cheeky smile on her face. I love her so much. We are such happy parents, lucky to have each other and our beautiful and smart baby girl.

Here are a few pictures taken during our outings at the park to enjoy the sunshine (that seems to have left us this week):
Lilly and Daddy exploring the grass.

There was a very nice dog and Lilly got to make friends with him.
She played for a good 15 minutes with him until
we decided to move on our walk, she kept on turning back to look at him
and pointed, looked up and said "doggy"!!!

Lilly's smile when back in her pram. Her Daddy was making faces and
monster noises which send her giggling every time!
